Remove specified task from system.
int RTX_Delete_Task ( int taskID );
- Task handle returned from
- 0, task is removed.
non-zero --> error code.
- You should not delete or kill a task which is waiting on a
or Event Group.
Same goes for a task that is in possession of
a resource type semaphore. Also the consequences of killing a task that had
acquired a counting semaphore must be considered.
After making this call, the taskID
is no longer valid.
A task can remove itself.
Any memory allocated from the system by the task which is
being deleted here will be released.
