Detailed Description

This interface provides access to the TCP/IP stack's socket interface for programming TCP/IP applications.

The main socket interface is implemented inside the GNU C Library. The @CHIP-RTOS-LNX CLIB implements wrapppers around these functions to gain compatibility with the SC1x, SC2x, SC1x3 and SC2x3 systems. It's up to the user to decide which variant of the socket API he likes to use, by setting a define before including the clib.h header file.
