◆ RTX_Free_Sem()

RTX_EC RTX_Free_Sem ( RTX_ID  semID)

Assuming that the calling task is the resource semaphore owner, the ownership is given up and the semaphore's usage count (spin lock) is reset to zero. This frees the semaphore for access by another task. If any task is waiting in the semaphore's priority queue for this resource, the task at the head of this queue will now be granted ownership. If this waiting task is higher priority than the calling task, an immediate task switch will occur.

The calling task must be the current owner, or this API fails with no operation and error code RTX_EC_NOT_OWNED_BY_CALLER.

Parameters
semIDSemaphore handle
Returns
Zero on success, else error code.
