CHIP.INI [DNS]

[DNS]
NAME_SERVER1=IP address of the first name server

Adds a name server to the DNS resolver's name server list. Normally the DNS resolver determines name server addresses automatically from network devices configured via DHCP or PPP. In addition you can specify two name servers in the CHIP.INI configuration file and via the function setNameServer(). Name servers found via DHCP have the lowest priority. Next come name servers found via PPP, then the two configured in CHIP.INI. The name server added via function call has the highest priority.
Default:
No default.
Example:
[DNS]
NAME_SERVER1=192.168.200.6
Since
V0.80

[DNS]
NAME_SERVER2=IP address of the second name server

See DNS_NAME_SERVER1
Default:
No default.
Example:
[DNS]
NAME_SERVER2=192.168.200.7
Since
V0.80

[DNS]
CACHE_ENABLE=0/1

This entry can be used to turn on the DNS cache. Use 0 to disable, 1 to enable. The GLIBC name service caching daemon will be started if this entry is 1.
Default:
By default the DNS cache is disabled (0).
Example:
[DNS]
CACHE_ENABLE=1
Since
V1.12
