typedef unsigned long GcColor

The GcColor type represents a 24 bit color value. The color is represented in RGB format. Bits 0..7 represent the blue fraction of the color, bits 8..15 represent the green fraction and bits 16..23 represent the red fraction. The bits 24..31 are reserved for future use. This means that 0x00FF0000 stands for pure blue, 0x0000FF00 for pure red and 0x000000FF for pure green.

To simplify color usage 16 basic colors have been defined. You may also use the macro function GC_COLOR_RGB() to create colors from their red, green and blue fractions more easily.
