The basis - the SC123
The IPC@CHIP® offers a wide range of possibilities for data acquisition: for example RS232, I2C, SPI, GPIO and more. With the application of the CoDeSys SP "Soft PLC" @CHIP runtime system, the acquisition of data and treatment is implemented very simply in the IEC61131-3 standard programming language.
The embedded iCex software
iCex is a concept for worldwide machine data acquisition and device control.
The data to be exchanged is configured on the server or on one of the MMIs on which the data is required, a so-called data consumer. The special benefit of iCex is the fact that the communication to the remote stations can be carried out using any TCP/IP-enabled connections such as wireless radio (GPRS, UMTS), landline networks (PSTN/ISDN/ADSL) all the way to satellite connections.
The graphic solution - the GC01
The GC01 Graphic Controller for the IPC@CHIP® SC123/143 makes it easy to fit IPC@CHIP®-based embedded applications with a graphic touch display. The latest full graphics TFT displays with touch options offer here maximum user-friendliness and optimum flexibility since it is possible to design both display and input via the software.
