 The IPC@CHIP ® DK55 Development Kit is a complete development system for the IPC@CHIP ® SC23 Embedded Controller. It contains all the hardware and software components you require for the fast evaluation and development of your applications with the IPC@CHIP ® SC23.
Thanks to the pre-installed RTOS and the comprehensive “Getting Started” instructions, the development board can be commissioned in a few minutes.
Simple creation of applications in C/C++ and IEC61131-3
As well as the DB54 development board with the SC23 Controller the Development Kit also contains the Paradigm C/C++ development environment for Windows with a C/C++ compiler, a remote debugger (via Ethernet) and many other tools. For creating C/C++ applications on the SC23 quickly and simply.
For the development of CoDeSys IEC61131-3 applications, the Development Kit contains a CoDeSys SP 2.3 Full RTS already adapted to the IPC@CHIP® that can be adapted to the individual requirements of custom applications with the help of the supplied CoDeSys Software Development Kit.
The LC-display of the development board can be used for displaying program information and is an application example for easy connection of text displays to the SC23, as well.
DK55 Development Kit
The DK55 contains all the hardware and software components required for the fast development of custom applications:
- DB54 development board
- SC23-IEC Embedded Controller (96 MHz, 8 MB RAM, 2 MB Flash)
- Paradigm C/C++ Compiler (Beck IPC edition for IPC@CHIP®), RTOS Remote Debugger and other tools
- CoDeSys IEC61131-3 SDK for SC23
- 100-240V / 24V plug-in power supply unit for DB54 (with adapters for international use)
- 2 PC programming cables (RS232 and USB)
- Ethernet patch cable and crossover cable
- SD card
- Practical systainer
DB54 Development Board
The development board provides all the functions that the SC23 Embedded Controller offers:
- Socket for SC23 Embedded Controller
- Ethernet 10/100Base-T
- 2 x RS232 (Sub-D socket)
- 1 x CAN 2.0b (Sub-D socket and TTL signal on pin header)
- 1 x USB1.1 (can be configured as host or device)
- 1 x SPI, 1 x I2C bus
- MMC/SD socket
- Extension port for custom hardware expansions
- I/O port wit LEDs and Dip switch
- 8 LED/8 dip switches for I/O simulation
- Freely programmable two-line text display for outputting program information
- Power Fail and Reset buttons
- Power supply, 24 VDC input
