Increased demand for the SNMP protocol on the IPC@CHIP® made this special section see the light. It gives an overview of the available SNMP software possibilities.
The example requires basic understanding of the SNMP protocol architecture.
The RTOS API Documentation contains the Management Information Base (MIB) data structures residing inside of the @CHIP-RTOS TCP/IP stack. These structures are only available in @CHIP-RTOS variants which contain the SNMP option. The support of SNMP MIB variables is not a part of our official six @CHIP-RTOS variants. The IPC@CHIP®-RTOS variants which include the SNMP MIB variables are available here:
