Ethernet communication in high speed networks, connection and to data exchange between computers, processors, MMI's, adapters as well as input/outputs. EtherNet/IP provides complete process system with a single physical connecting structure.

At the Standard oriented example for the implementation of EtherNet/IP on IPC@CHIP^®, for the test with the conform test tool.

Application examples whereas the DK50 with the Embedded Controller SC13 works as gateway between several Honeywell controllers with serial interface, and a Rockwell PLC with EtherNet/IP interface. The EtherNet/IP conversion over serial protocol takes place in the SC13.
