The IPC@CHIP® DK51 Development Kit is a complete ready-to-use development system for building applications based on the new Embedded Controller IPC@CHIP® SC11 and SC13.

The DK51 contains both hardware as well as software components needed in a basic development. The only thing you have to do is to add your application specific add-ons.

All necessary hardware and software functionality’s for the use of Ethernet, compact flash, serial ports, i/o’s and many more important features required for an embedded system are available and well documented enabling

To add your own hardware you have the possibility to connect directly to the 16 bit pre-selected address/data bus of the Embedded Controller. The only thing is to add the according software to the pre-installed RTOS.

It is so easy. Just try it and you get your own application within minutes.

The DK51 comes in a systainer box and consists of a DK50 development board, SC13-IEC Embedded Controller, CoDeSys programming system for IPC@CHIP®, serial cable and AC power supply with interchangeable plugs.

Development Board DK50

The development board integrates all functions, which are necessary to operate the SC13 Embedded Controller:

Example: DK50 Development Board with customer specific extensions.
  • Single power supply (24 VDC input)
  • Two RS232 interfaces (COM and EXT
  • 10/100MBit/s Ethernet interface
  • Compact Flash Card interface
  • 12 programmable I/O pins with LEDs
  • Digital extension port with 4 programmable chip selects (16-byte I/O space each)
  • Power fail and Reset buttons
  • Breadboard area for customer specific extensions

SC13 Embedded Controller

The SC13 Embedded Controller is the latest product of the IPC@CHIP® controller family. The SC13 is a complete single chip solution with an average performance factor of 3 compared to the SC12 Embedded Controller. The SC13 Embedded Controller contains the reliable RTOS Real Time Multitasking operating system.

Software Development Environment

The DK51 contains a complete version of the Borland C++ Development Suite.
