An essential part of the IPC@CHIP® technology consists of the latest integrated development systems for creating in-house learning assignments.
Paradigm C/C++ Beck Edition
The Beck IPC edition of the Paradigm C/C++ compiler is a modern integrated development environment (IDE) for creating C and C++ programs for the IPC@CHIP® controller family.
Source code editor with Visual Assist
The editor is an integral part of the IDE. The user can move simply between editor, compiler, debugger and browser. Five different editor emulations are available. Visual Assist is a powerful expansion of the editor. It intuitively completes your functions, starts macros and makes suggestions for code optimisation.
Project manager
The integrated project manager allows the simple management of all C and C++ projects.
Compiler and debugger
The integrated compiler generates efficient and powerful code for IPC@CHIP® controllers. The debugger enables faults in the source code to be found quickly without having to leave the IDE.
RTOS API documentation and C library
The IPC@CHIP® RTOS API documentation is incorporated in the Help system of the development environment. The API C libraries come also already integrated and are thus available directly to the user for developing the application.
Network license
The IDE is available as a network license with five or fifteen workstations.
CoDeSys 2.3 – IEC61131-3
The CoDeSys (Controller-Development-System) is a programming software that allows you to program the IPC@CHIP® Controller in accordance with the IEC61131-3 international standard. It consists of two sections: the CoDeSys programming system and the CoDeSys-SP runtime system. The IPC@CHIP® comes with the CoDeSys-SP IEC61131-3 runtime system already implemented for use and optimally adapted to the RTOS operating system of the IPC@CHIP®.
Programming in the following IEC61131-3 languages is possible:
Instruction list (IL)
Structured text (ST)
Function block diagram (FDP)
Ladder diagram (LD)
Sequential function chart (SFC)
Freely graphical continuous function chart (CFC)
The CoDeSys programming system is contained in the DK55-EDUC and DK61-EDUC learning systems.
