Beck IPC will be exhibiting at the Venditalia in Milan for the CDP - Customer Driven Products business. This fair focuses on all aspects of the vending machine sector. J1939 – CAN protocol for utility vehicles
J1939 is a CAN-based protocol specified by the international Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) that is used especially for communication in utility vehicles.
The protocol stack of Port GmbH is used for J1939. It uses the CAN API of the SC1x3. Customers wishing to use this protocol stack for their own applications should contact Port GmbH directly (service@port.de).

Hannover Messe 2008
From 21 to 25 of April the Hannover industrial fair takes place. It won't be the first time that Beck will be presenting at Hannover on the joint stand of the CoDeSys Automation Alliance in hall 8 booth D47. In 2008 we are presenting three new products from our CoDeSys-programmed Embedded Controllers: the new SC23 Controller, the BT01 Bluetooth module and the GC01 graphic module.
Beck can also be found on the joint stand of the EtherCat Technology Group in hall 9, booth F13.

Graphical user interface for the IPC@CHIP®
The GC01 Graphic Controller for the IPC@CHIP® SC123/143 makes it easy to fit IPC@CHIP®-based embedded applications with a graphic touch display.
Like all IPC@CHIP® add-ons, the GC01 graphic expansion can be connected easily in terms of hardware and software to the Beck IPC Embedded Controller.
As usual, an entry level function kit - the FK61-GC01 Function Kit - is also available. It contains all the components required for the simple and fast development of graphical user interfaces for the IPC@CHIP®.
The FK61-GC01 function kit as well as preliminary versions of the GC01 graphic controller will be available from Mai 2008.
