Vehicle to Grid – e-charging stations from Beck IPC Beck IPC offers e-charging solutions in kit concepts for custom-tailored demands such as control, communication, identification, data collection and display.
Our solution- electricity becomes publicly available for the taking-, whether as a complete e-charging station or individual charging components, according to our customer’s needs.
Beck control components control the entire charging process of the charging station. All collected data is then transmitted to a server via e.g. GPRS/GSM, from which the data is forwarded to an e-charging portal. There, all data gathered during the charging process is evaluated and displayed. The collection of the data on an external databank is also possible.
Identification at the pump is effected via RFID. The user-friendly touch-screen displays guide the charging process. All parameters can be adjusted according to the specific customer demands. Communication between the pumps and the server is performed in real-time and bi-directional. Thus, all pumps can be monitored and updated from any location. The communication is thereby solution-controlled making it extremely economical.
Long-term experience in the fields of communication, based on the IPC@CHIP® technology and various implemented soft- and hardware features of the operation system, make e-charging solutions more cost-effective, safer, faster and therefore more economic.

com.beck - The New Product Family of Open Gateways for WEB Enabling Technology This new device and product range allows Beck IPC to supply the market for industrial and industry-related remote communication.
The IPC@CHIP® product family has been providing WEB enabling technologies since 2000. Our mission continues to be the provision of field data to the Internet. In this we are considerably expanding the basic technical options available. Moreover we are enabling a larger customer group to benefit from this technology. In 2010 Beck is planning an ever wider range of new basic technologies for this, and will also launch new device types on the market.
The technologies:
The new products are based on the IPC@CHIP® standard industrial controller. With its extensive options for TCP/IP communication, this offers the ideal platform for Internet communication in the embedded sector.
The IPC@CHIP® also offers the latest full range of enhancements required for designing an industrial product. These include both wireless expansions such as Bluetooth and Wireless LAN as well as graphical expansions such as for touch displays. In addition to these features, the proven and widespread IEC61131 solution based on CoDeSys can also be used and combined.
Beck is developing two important technology columns based on this basic framework. Firstly, an Internet portal for data provision, and secondly the increasingly important IEC61850 protocol for communication networks and systems in substations.

IEC61131-3 and Automation Alliance Conformity The programming and configuration of controllers in IEC61131-3 has now become an absolute necessity. However, the proprietary programming systems for special customized controllers are no longer state-of-the-art. Adapting IEC61131-3 compliant programming systems is also time consuming and normally only worthwhile with large unit quantities. This gap has now been filled with Beck IPC's new Embedded Web Controller IPC@CHIP® with the CoDeSys SP runtime system.

THE POINT OF SYNERGY - Die Erfolgsstory Chancen erkennen, Synergien nutzen: Wer eine solche Firmenphilosophie vertritt, wird an seinen Erfolgen gemessen.

THE POINT OF SYNERGY - The Success Story Recognising chances, using synergies: Whoever holds to this company philosophy is measured by their successes. At Beck nobody is ashamed of showing this. It's not by chance that BECK was the first ever industrial automation supplier to not only take technologies from the mass applications of the office world and use them for industrial environments, but also to integrate them in trend-setting new solutions. Beck has now become one of the leading vendors in this field. Becks advantage: Because of the fast innovation cycles involved in PC technology Beck has have been able to ensure right from the start that only state-of-the-art products are used in automation solutions. A further benefit: At BECK innovative energy and quality assurance go hand in hand. Only known and familiar technologies are “refined and miniaturised” for industrial use.

Internet embedded – and controlling at the same time You’re dreaming of a 64-bit microprocessor, at least 2 GHz, with 2 Gbytes of RAM and a good-sized hard disk. Of course it has to be built into your machine, rugged, heat resistant and immune to vibrations. What for? Because at long last your production machine needs access to the LAN and the Internet. Remote maintenance is called for.
Because your vending machine should be able to trigger an order automatically by e-mail. Because you want to be able to control the heating in a holiday home over the Internet. Because you want a webcam mounted directly on a machine to visualise the progress of processing. Because ...

How can the Internet and automation work together? The Internet and automation is a subject of great discussion at the moment. Anyone who wants to go down this road seems to need a lot of know-how, a lot of engineering and a lot of investment. Beck IPC is proving that it does not have to be that difficult. The simplest way of showing this is by using the very medium that will actually be used in practice – the Internet.
